Kyna English, Vietnamese online education in Ho Chi Minh City, closes a Series B funding round while keeping the deal amount undisclosed. Asia Business Builders led the deal with additional capital from DTP Education Group as well as by Ho Hong Bao Tram, the founder and CEO of Kyna English.
This investment will allow Kyna English to spread its wings further than Vietnam into other countries such as Thailand, Indonesia, and Laos. Moreover, the company intends to intensify its hold in the domestic market.
Kyna English aims to upgrade its AI-powered platform for personalized tutoring, which provides unique learning experiences to students. Ever since its launch in 2020, the platform has catered to over 150,000 learners through over 15,000 daily classes. The company has a network of over 8,000 tutors and completed over 10 million one-on-one classes.
This funding will further Kyna English's mission to revolutionize English education in Southeast Asia, leveraging technology to offer flexible, personalized learning experiences to students across the region.
