Kyndryl has appointed Megawaty Khie as vice president and managing director for Asean and Korea, where she will lead the company’s business across the region and strengthen customer relationships.
In her new role, Megawaty will work with organizations to modernize their technology environments and align technology strategies with evolving business priorities.
Her appointment comes as enterprises across Asean and Korea accelerate efforts to modernize mission-critical IT infrastructure and prepare their technology foundations for the growing adoption of artificial intelligence.
With more than 25 years of leadership experience across the technology industry, Megawaty brings expertise in building high-performing teams, developing customer relationships and driving business growth across diverse markets.

Megawaty succeeds Andrew Lim, who has moved into a new senior leadership position at Kyndryl with responsibilities spanning the Asia-Pacific region.
Before joining Kyndryl, Megawaty served as regional managing director for Southeast Asia at Avanade. In the role, she was responsible for leading the company’s regional business and customer engagements.

Previously, she led Channels and Strategic Partnerships for Google Cloud in Southeast Asia and served as Google’s regional director for Indonesia and Malaysia. Her career also includes leadership positions at Microsoft, SAP, IBM, HP, Dell and Singtel.
Across these roles, Megawaty has worked with enterprise, small and medium-sized business, and consumer markets, gaining experience across different segments of the technology industry.

At Kyndryl, her focus will include strengthening the company’s regional customer relationships and leveraging its teams and partner ecosystem to support organisations as they modernise their IT environments and adopt technologies needed for the AI era.
