LuLu Inks Strategic MoU with UAE Food Cluster

Highlighting its role as a vital strategic player in the UAE’s food landscape, LuLu Group has formalized a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the UAE Food Cluster at the Make it in the Emirates 2026 event at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi.
The collaboration represents an important advancement in enhancing the visibility, accessibility, and global presence of food products made in the UAE.
The MoU was executed by Saleh Abdulla Lootah and Salim M.A. with HE Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri and Yusuffali M.A. present.
In this partnership, LuLu will actively aid the UAE Food Cluster's goals by endorsing locally sourced food throughout its retail outlets and global markets, while enhancing supply chain cohesion, assisting SMEs, and encouraging innovation and sustainability in the industry.

To strengthen this commitment, LuLu Group also revealed the initiation of the second phase of its Al Tayeb food processing plant in Abu Dhabi. The expansion was highlighted by Yusuffali M.A. together with HE Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri, further enhancing local food production capacities. This week marked a significant milestone as the inaugural export shipment of food products made in the UAE was dispatched to Bahrain, highlighting the expanding international presence of 'Made in UAE' goods.

The LuLu pavilion at the event drew attention from notable dignitaries, such as HH Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, along with HE Sultan Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, highlighting the significance of private sector involvement in advancing the UAE’s industrial and food security goals
