Mannai Corporation Appoints New Group President for ICT Business

Mannai Corporation has named Sumanta Roy, a veteran of the technology sector, as Group President for Information and Communication Technology (ICT).
Roy will head the ICT business for the group in the Middle East and Africa, enhancing its technological skills and pushing for regional growth, with Saudi Arabia highlighted as a key market, the company announced.

Mannai considers Saudi Arabia a key focus, enhancing its presence in the Kingdom through Mannai Information Technology Saudi Arabia. In his updated position, Roy will guide the subsequent growth phase from the company's Riyadh headquarters, utilizing Mannai's regional strengths and international collaborations to enhance its technological footprint in the Kingdom and aid the Group's wider expansion throughout the Middle East and Africa.
This will involve enhancing connections with clients and technology collaborators, while expanding the offerings in high-growth sectors like AI, cybersecurity, cloud, digital transformation, intelligent infrastructure, and managed services. He will also strive to enhance integration and scale within Mannai's ICT operations, fostering sustainable, profitable growth as the Group expands its regional presence.

Roy offers over 30 years of leadership expertise in IT services, business transformation, and regional development. He held the position of President and Regional Head for the Middle East and Africa at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), overseeing business development, market growth, and client relations throughout the region.

Throughout his time, he bolstered TCS' footprint in the Middle East and Africa regions and promoted AI, cloud, and digital transformation projects, while conducting significant efforts in Saudi Arabia. He has an MBA in Marketing from the Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management (IISWBM).
