Allison Worldwide and Stagwell have named Margaret Key as the chief executive officer of Allison Asia and the executive director for Asia-Pacific at Stagwell, in a bid to enhance their communications capabilities in the region.
Key will take on these dual roles starting October 1, working from Singapore and reporting to Jonathan Heit, CEO of Allison Worldwide. She brings over 20 years of experience in strategic communications and leadership throughout the region.
In her new position at Allison Asia, Key will oversee business development, strategic planning, and expansion initiatives in the area. Additionally, at Stagwell, she will concentrate on regional market advancement and improving client relationships through a closer connection with the global Stagwell network.
Most recently, Key served as CEO of Publicis’ MSL Group for the Asia-Pacific region, where she transformed the agency into a regional network and spearheaded its growth and expansion. She has also held senior positions at Edelman and Burson-Marsteller in Asia Pacific. Moreover, she is a board member of Verité, a global nonprofit focused on labor rights.
