Holtshausen, who has more than ten years of experience at McLaren Automotive and more than six years of experience working in the Middle East and Africa (MEAF) area, will be in charge of the company's regional operations from the brand's office, which is situated in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Holtshausen joined McLaren Automotive in 2012 and has a career mostly in automotive sales and marketing. Most recently, he served as the region's sales manager for the Middle East and Africa. In his new position, Holtshausen will concentrate on maintaining the brand's dominant position in the area and will answer directly to Brett Soso, the company's Managing Director for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, who is headquartered in Woking, United Kingdom.

“I’m delighted to announce Robert’s new appointment at what promises to be a very exciting time for our brand with McLaren celebrating its 60th Anniversary this year. Robert brings a wealth of brand experience into the role, and I am confident that his expertise and result-focused approach will allow us to maintain the highest standards of professional service and operational excellence for the benefit of our Retail Partners and discerning customers,” said Brett Soso, Managing Director – Europe, Middle East & Africa.

“The MEAF region provides amazing opportunity and I look forward to contributing to, and driving, our continued success in the region,” said Holtshausen.
