MongoDB and Alibaba Cloud have extended their strategic global partnership for four years, which has seen significant growth since its inception in 2019.
MongoDB is a non-relational database, and through this collaboration, customers will be able to adopt and consume MongoDB-as-a-service, ApsaraDB for MongoDB, from Alibaba Cloud's data centres around the world.
ApsaraDB for MongoDB allows customers to build modern enterprise-scale applications. According to a statement, the two companies are now collaborating to further integrate MongoDB and Alibaba Cloud services to serve even more customers globally across industries such as gaming, automotive, and content development.

According to the company, Alibaba Cloud collaborates closely with MongoDB's technical teams to develop and launch cloud services for its customers. ApsaraDB for MongoDB from Alibaba Cloud leverages the document data model to provide developers with a flexible and highly scalable database to build applications and quickly ship new features to meet business demands.
