A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) has been signed between China Mobile International (CMI), a division of China Mobile, one of the biggest telecommunications firms in the world, and NeutraDC, a brand of PT Telkom Data Ekosistem (TDE).

The MOU stipulates that NeutraDC and CMI would collaborate to provide strategic solutions that specifically address the needs of Chinese businesses operating in Indonesia. They will accomplish this by combining their knowledge, data centre, and network skills. Also, both businesses will look at potential locations for the growth and development of data centres.

"This partnership is an important step in Indonesia's digital economy," said Andreuw Th.A.F, CEO of NeutraDC. "We have extensive experience supporting Chinese businesses in this region and understand the challenges they face. Through this Memorandum of Understanding, we will provide Chinese companies with a comprehensive solution to enter the Southeast Asian market, along with knowledge and support to help them navigate the complexities of doing business in the region."

"It is very exciting to have this opportunity to collaborate with NeutraDC to provide our customers with even more comprehensive and innovative solutions to expand their business to Southeast Asia," said Daniel Zhang, Managing Director of CMI Indonesia.

Customers can access Indonesia's sizable and profitable digital economy with NeutraDC. NeutraDC, a TDE brand, provides an Indonesian hub for TDE's data centre resources, a digital ecosystem where any party (including hyperscale entities) can access integrated digital infrastructure with extensive network connectivity. Indonesia has a sizable prospective market due to its approximately 171 million active internet users and the close economic relations between China and Indonesia.

Chinese businesses have embraced Indonesia's digital economy during the past ten years by funding start-ups and cutting-edge businesses in industries including e-commerce, OTT, finance, and digital entertainment.
