Petronas Inks MoU with AIQ To Promote AI solutions Outside UAE

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been struck between PETRONAS and AIQ, a technology firm with its headquarters in Abu Dhabi, to share expertise in developing Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions that might potentially speed up the energy transition and promote sustainability throughout energy operations. AIQ is a leader in technology who is committed to using artificial intelligence (AI) to transform the industrial sector.

Dr. Sambasivam Rajamani, the head of data science at PETRONAS, and Saravan Kumar Penubarthi, the chief technology officer at AIQ, signed the memorandum of understanding in the presence of Aadrin Azly, the vice president of group technology and commercialization at PETRONAS, and Dr. Ahmed Salem, the senior vice president of commercial and business development at AIQ. Through information sharing, value generation, cooperative product development and commercialization, capability development, and engineering, PETRONAS and AIQ will work together to innovate digitally in the energy sector.

As part of the partnership, the two companies will cooperate to pilot and test artificial intelligence (AI) technologies in order to find workable applications and use cases that may provide value across several business verticals in the global energy sector.  Additionally, in order to guarantee commercial and operational excellence across all of their combined initiatives, PETRONAS and AIQ will create best practices and frameworks for AI and Advanced Analytics.

This partnership with PETRONAS is thought of as AIQ's initial attempt to export its inventive, cutting-edge AI solutions outside the area. AIQ intends to maintain the growth of its international alliances in order to sell its top-notch technologies.
