Prabowo Boosts Economic Diplomacy at Indonesia's Davos Pavilion

President Prabowo Subianto made a visit to the Indonesian Pavilion during the World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting 2026 in Davos, Switzerland with the objective of enhancing the country's economic diplomacy efforts.
The visit was characterized by the Presidential Secretariat as a reflection of Prabowo's dedication to engaging in active, inclusive, and results-driven diplomatic efforts.

It is emphasized that Indonesia's involvement in the WEF will lead to the creation of collaborations that will contribute to a brighter future.
Upon arriving, the president received a warm welcome from Indonesian citizens and members of the diaspora residing in Switzerland as well as neighboring nations. Additionally, he participated in friendly interactions with international guests, including individuals from Norway.
Prabowo subsequently participated in discussions with government representatives and prominent figures from the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) regarding the exhibition of Indonesian coffee at the pavilion.
Accompanying him were his son, Didit Hediprasetyo, as well as a delegation consisting of Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto, Foreign Affairs Minister Sugiono, Investment Minister Rosan Roeslani, Communication and Digital Affairs Minister Meutya Hafid, and Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya.

The pavilion, operating under the theme ‘Indonesia Endless Horizons’, functions as the designated forum for showcasing Indonesia's viewpoints and investment strategies.
It is the venue for holding significant dialogues, thematic debates, and business matchmaking sessions with international collaborators.
Earlier in the day, President Prabowo presented a unique discourse to global leaders and investors. During his speech, he detailed the government's vision and economic plans, commonly referred to as ‘Prabowonomics’. He participated in the event alongside other prominent world leaders such as the US President Donald Trump and French President Emmanuel Macron.

Moreover, the President of Indonesia extended invitations to government officials and influential international personalities to partake in the forthcoming Ocean Impact Summit set to take place in Bali in June of 2026. The president emphasized the significance of the approaching summit as a demonstration of Indonesia's commitment to enhancing international cooperation in safeguarding and effectively managing oceanic and marine assets.
As the head of an archipelagic nation with extensive maritime resources, he underscored his profound interest in maritime affairs. He also pointed out that Ray Dalio, a well-known philanthropist and hedge fund manager, is anticipated to participate in the Bali Ocean Impact Summit. President Prabowo presented his keynote speech at the Congress Hall, the primary location for the WEF Annual Meeting 2026. He shared the stage with prominent global figures such as US President Donald J. Trump and French President Emmanuel Macron.
