Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, has appointed Saeed Dashti as its new Country Manager for Bangladesh.
This strategic move is aimed at bolstering the airline's presence and operations in the Bangladeshi market, said a release.
Saeed Dashti brings a wealth of experience to his new position. He began his career with Gulf Air in 2001 as an Account Analyst, eventually rising to the role of Network Revenue Analyst before leaving the company in 2006.
During his absence from Gulf Air, Dashti ventured into the banking sector with BNP Paribas Bank in Bahrain. He later returned to the aviation industry, contributing to the commercial department of Bahrain Air, holding the positions of Commercial Manager at Qatar Airways and Country Manager for Oman Air.
In 2024, Dashti returned to Gulf Air as Country Manager, bringing his extensive experience in the trade business across the Middle East and Asia.
With his strong background in commercial and finance roles within Gulf Air, the airline is confident that he will play a key role in driving its growth in Bangladesh, according to the release.
