XPENG Motors, a prominent Chinese company specializing in smart electric vehicles, has unveiled its newest long-standing strategic collaboration with Ali&Sons, a dealership group based in the UAE. This partnership is integral to XPENG's global expansion strategy, as it seeks to introduce its latest range of smart EVs to consumers in various international markets. Other key partners in this endeavor include Egypt's RAYA, Azerbaijan's SR Group, Jordan's T Gargour and Fils, and Lebanon's Gargour Asia SAL.
XPENG's approach to global market dealership strategy prioritizes forging alliances with local dealers to cultivate top-tier distribution, sales, and service networks across different regions. These collaborations empower XPENG to introduce its newest smart EV models to local customers through dedicated showrooms, robust after-sales assistance, and comprehensive guidance throughout the purchasing journey.
Starting from Q3 2024, XPENG is set to introduce its G6 SUV and G9 SUV models in the UAE. Tailored for international markets, both the G6 and G9 are built upon XPENG's advanced Smart Electric Platform Architecture (SEPA) 2.0 platform. This platform not only serves as the basis for forthcoming production models but also streamlines development and manufacturing expenses.
XPENG initiated deliveries of its P7 sedan and G9 SUV in Israel and Azerbaijan toward the end of 2023. In the current year, XPENG will commence deliveries of these vehicles in Jordan and Lebanon starting from Q2, followed by Egypt from Q3. Notably, the P7 has emerged as XPENG's top-selling model, surpassing 100,000 sales within two years of its global debut.

The partnerships represent significant milestones for XPENG as it advances toward global expansion. Notably, the UAE marks XPENG's inaugural entry into the Gulf region, while Azerbaijan serves as the company's pioneering venture into Central Asia, and Egypt signifies its debut in Africa. Simultaneously, XPENG is poised to extend its reach into several European markets such as Germany, the UK, Italy, and France throughout the current year.
