Fox Hires Vimeo's Anjali Sud as Tubi Streaming Service CEO

Separator

Anjali Sud, a former longstanding leader of the video-sharing website Vimeo, was appointed by Fox Corp as the CEO of its streaming service Tubi. After around nine years as CEO of the streaming service, Sud just announced his resignation. Paul Cheesbrough, CEO of the Tubi Media Group, will receive her reports.

Before joining Vimeo, Sud worked at Time Warner and Amazon in the areas of finance, media, and e-commerce. Sud, who will take over as CEO on September 1, succeeds Farhad Massoudi, the founder and CEO of Tubi.

After reversing course from earlier in the day, Fox shares were slightly higher. Fox launched the Tubi Media Group as part of a restructure in April to house the streaming service as well as some of Fox's digital news, sports, and entertainment channels.

At that moment, Fox made public both Cheesbrough's selection as the newly established unit's leader and Massoudi's intention to resign. For $440 million, Fox purchased Tubi in 2020.

The corporate headquarters of the American media conglomerate Fox Corporation are located at 1211 Avenue of the Americas in New York City. It was established on March 19, 2019, as a result of The Walt Disney Company's acquisition of 21st Century Fox, which was finalized on March 20. It is a Delaware corporation.
