Oman Air is set to enhance its domestic and international network with an expanded flight schedule for Winter 2026/27, adding more services, increased passenger capacity, and better connections in various key travel markets.

Starting from 25 October 2026, the seasonal initiative will improve connectivity between Muscat and various locations in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Europe, Russia, and Asia, while also broadening the airline's scope through new and enhanced codeshare agreements.

The updated timetable aims to align with seasonal travel needs, offer travelers more convenient departure choices, and enhance Oman’s attractiveness as an international tourist spot.

Oman Air’s winter operations will heavily feature Europe, as numerous existing routes are set to gain extra capacity and increased frequency. Zurich is set to see one of the largest increases, with available capacity expanding to triple the summer level. The airline intends to utilize widebody planes for up to five weekly flights, offering more seats and enhanced comfort for travelers journeying between Oman and Switzerland.

Additional prominent European locations, such as Paris, Frankfurt, Munich, Milan, and Istanbul, will experience enhanced frequency, with services expanding to as many as five flights each week. Moscow is expected to experience significant growth. Oman Air plans to boost its services to the Russian capital from four weekly flights in the summer to up to eight per week during the winter season.

Alongside the carrier's current network of 11 European cities, these enhancements will offer travelers a broader selection of connections and travel dates. The extra capacity is anticipated to enhance inbound tourism by increasing accessibility to Oman for travelers from key European source markets.

The Winter 2026/27 schedule will mark a significant advancement for multiple destinations included in Oman Air’s network in early 2026. Keeping these routes active during the winter will assist Oman Air in expanding its global options and offer more travel alternatives for travelers connecting through Muscat.

The services also play a role in the airline’s broader strategy of cultivating new markets and enhancing Oman’s status as a regional hub for international travel.

Oman Air’s winter network growth goes further than its own flights, as improved codeshare alliances offer access to additional destinations throughout Europe. These partnerships will broaden Oman Air's access to cities not directly connected by its flights, providing travelers with additional options to arrange trips through established European aviation centers.

For those leaving Oman, the collaborations offer extra access to locations throughout the United Kingdom, Poland, Norway, Denmark, and Sweden. They further enhance options for European travelers to arrive in Muscat and connect to Oman Air’s extensive network.
