Samsung SDS and Google Cloud announced an extended collaboration focused on addressing the increasing demand for artificial intelligence (AI), cloud, and security services in sectors with stringent data and security regulations.
The two firms revealed the growth of their collaboration at Google Cloud Next 2026 in Las Vegas, where leaders detailed strategies to collectively focus on industries such as public services and finance.
The firms announced they will concentrate on markets that prioritize high-security and compliance, utilizing Google Distributed Cloud to fulfill needs like data localization, minimal latency, and system durability.
Samsung SDS announced intentions to incorporate Google’s Gemini Enterprise into its Samsung Cloud Platform to provide intelligent AI solutions for business clients.
The collaboration will encompass managed service provider solutions, integrating Google Cloud Platform with Samsung SDS' industry knowledge to enhance enterprise uptake.
It is anticipated that security collaboration will be enhanced, as the firms will combine Google’s Wiz platform with Samsung SDS’ security services to improve threat detection and response.

“This collaboration will mark a pivotal moment in transforming regulated sectors through agentic AI and sovereign cloud technologies,” stated Google Cloud Korea President Ruth Sun.

Samsung SDS Executive Vice President Lee Ho-joon stated that the company “will facilitate enterprise AI transformation by creating secure and compliant cloud infrastructures.”
