Sharjah Retail, Ruwad inks agreement to help business owners, entrepreneurs

The Sharjah Retail Group of the Sharjah Cooperative Society and the Sharjah Foundation to Assist Pioneering Entrepreneurs (Ruwad) of the Sharjah Economic Development Department have inked an agreement to collaborate in order to better serve Sharjah's entrepreneurs, business owners, and SMEs.

In the presence of representatives from both organisations, the contract was signed by Abdullah Issa Al Huraimel, general manager of the Sharjah Retail Group, and Hamad Ali Abdullah Al Mahmoud, director of Ruwad.

Al Mahmoud emphasised the value of inter-agency cooperation in promoting Sharjah's economic and sustainable development as well as the development of the UAE as a whole. He also stressed the importance of enabling Emiratis to start and grow businesses that will diversify local service offerings and increase national competitiveness.

According to Al Huraimel, the Sharjah Retail Group provides a variety of incentives, facilities, and services to regional Enterprises, projects, as well as their commercial hubs and retail locations in the Emirate.

Ruwad will inform its customers and members about the services offered by the Sharjah Retail Group in accordance with the agreement. In the Emirate of Sharjah, these services include developing, running, leasing, and marketing retail projects and shopping centres. They also include various advisory services for these projects and centres.
