SI Group Appoints Frank Yang as Asia Pacific VP and Managing Director

SiSI Group, a prominent worldwide producer of performance additives, process solutions, pharmaceuticals and chemical intermediates, has declared the appointment of Frank Yang as the Vice President & Managing Director for the Asia Pacific region, commencing from January 1, 2024.

As the Vice President & Managing Director overseeing Asia Pacific, Frank will be responsible for leading SI Group's management team in the region to optimize operations and achieve favorable outcomes. With over two decades of experience, Frank brings extensive expertise gained from prominent global chemical corporations. He has a well-documented history of steering businesses through transformative phases. Until recently, Frank held the position of Vice President – Strategy at INEOS Aromatics. Prior to this role, he held leadership positions across multiple continents at bp Global Petrochemicals, bp, and PetroChina.

Joey Gullion, Chief Commercial Officer at SI Group, expressed confidence in Frank's ability to contribute positively to the company in the dynamic Asia Pacific chemical market. Gullion anticipates that Frank's successful history of business growth and transformation will greatly benefit the organization. As Frank assumes the role of VP & Managing Director, Asia Pacific, SI Group looks forward to enhancing value for customers and shareholders in both the immediate and long-term future.

Regarding his new appointment, Frank Yang expressed enthusiasm about joining SI Group, citing the company's strong market presence and growth potential in the region. Frank holds a master's degree in business management from the University of Chicago and a degree in chemical engineering from East China University of Science and Technology.
